Where’s Nagy?
All week I have been stoked that my old travel partner, Jeff Vonk, has gotten a book published about his life and our travel stories. Today he sent me the cover photo. It’s slightly recognizable. I took that shot of him at the base of Everest, in the midst of an epic 5000 kilometer motorcycle journey across China, Tibet, and Nepal.
You may think it’s similar to my profile pic on this blog—that was the version he took of me.
When an iPhone 3 can capture this, you know it was a beautiful day in Montreal.

I want to tell you where I took the reflection photo, I really do, but it was such a cool place, I want to show you a few more photos first. The next series is from that exact location.
I captured the sky in a bowl then flipped it upside down. For serious. Believe me, guys. I’m not trying to make a crappy April Fool’s joke. I really did it. Jeez.
